What's the efestivals stance on Los Campesinos!?

Personally, I'm a big fan, they've always been great whenever I've seen them and have made some fantastic records. The new album No Blues is coming out pretty soon and they're doing a couple of dates in November.

Album trailer (it's what bands do these days)

New Single - What Death Leaves Behind

I've heard better songs than that new one, but I still have high hopes for the album.

And to make this relevant to the board, do we think they'll play Glastonbury 2014? 2008 on Other was their last appearance that I can find. Where would they play this time? John Peel would be the obvious answer, but that place is a write-off so I'd hope for The Park.

They're very 2007-08 to me, we're a very much flavour of the moment band, I remember going to see them, plain white tees andJ ack Penate when I was 15 in the spaceport like a month and everyone loved them!

I didn't even realise they were going, I assume I'm not the only one to neglect them, and they're probably that small now that they could be found somewhere dead small next year, which in turn could be brilliant.

One good thing from them though, is that eceryone knows what the word for Peasant is in Spanish!

I love them still :D They sadly never got that big as some of the other mid "naughties" indie bands even at the height of their fame and think out of some of the crap that was touring massive venues they was hard done by.

They played first or 2nd on the Reading mainstage last year and they really pulled it off...so maybe early other stage and a nice evening park set for them at Glastonbury? Would be better than stuffing them into the John Peel tent.

ITS YOU! ITS ME! AND THERE'S DANCING!

every time Los Campesinos! announce a new album i think 'i bet i've outgrown them now' but they seem to have matured musically just as i have in unison. can't really listen to their first album anymore but their last (Hello Sadness) was fantastic and i can't wait for the new'un (singe's great - had it on repeat since it was released). would love them to be there - hopefully a high / mid-ish spot on a smaller stage rather than low on Other / big stage
