Has anyone done a Butlins Music Weekend?

The line ups not brilliant but would be a nice break from the winter blues.

Just got back from our second Giants of Rock at Minehead. It was a good laugh, especially the Sunday night, with Slade and Eddie and the Hot Rods. The Saturday night line up wasn't really to our taste this year though - The Enid & Focus - not really our thing - much prefered watching Hawkwind last year! Our only problem is that Minehead is quite a distance for us to go for the weekend, so we're considering doing the Rock & Blues weekend at Skegness instead next year.

Also went to the Alternative weekend at Skegness back in October, and had a brilliant time there too - so much so that we're already booked to do it again this next October!

So, you could say that we've been converted over to the Butlins Music Weekends over the past year or so - they're good value for money, a great laugh and, most importantly, you get to sleep in a nice warm centrally heated chalet with a television, kettle, proper toilet and shower!
