Any experiences of boomtique village, also where abouts it is on the site? I'm wondering whether to go with boomtique wristband or one of the new boom deluxe options. Plan to camp near the entrance, opposite the police HQ (if it's same layout as last year).

boom deluxe

The Captain’s Quarters - Located near OldTown camping

DownTown Decadence - Located near Info Island in DownTown

The Temple Retreat - Located in TrenchTown camping

Hi.

I have a Tier-3 weekend pass to the Boomtown Fair. I unfortunately can't go now. Am totally gutted. Looking to sell it on. Obviously only at face value or can do it a bit cheaper. Was meant to be my first one and was gonna continue the great time I had at Glasto last week. Am gutted I can't go.

If you or you know anyone wishing to go, please get in touch. I have all email confirmations to prove I bought it and will be sent the tix on the 16/07. First time I have posted on this, so not sure how you'll get in touch but please do so if you wish to buy a tix or know more.

Thanks so much,

Harj.

Has anybody seen a proper map of the site even last years one would be fine.

I don't mean the cartoon type one on the Boomtown website but something similar to a Glastonbury "crew map"

They like to be secretive about what exactly they do. For example, there were lots of notices in the crew area about not uploading photos of the site before it opened, so that the whole thing is a surprise. Because it's growing each year, that means it has to change each year too (tho how much I'm not sure, I've only been once myself).

So, it's quite possible that a more detailed and accurate map doesn't exist in the public domain.

I am not surprised as they dont seem to exist anywhere, would have been handy to plan where to camp especailly as I am thinking of one the the "posh" loos wristbands.

That said I believe you are only restricted to shower in "your" zone, not that I have ever had a shower at a festival and I dont intend to start now.

Still love to have a map obviously.

Had my finger on the tickets button for months but not quite pressed "buy" yet... bit concerned about going on my own (not done that since my first Glasto in 2004!)... anyone fancy setting up an eFestivals camp?

Hey guys unfortunately my sister and I can't go to Boomtown anymore and are looking to sell our tickets. I was just wondering if anyone can recommend the best way to do this? As the tickets are barcoded emails (and can therefore be printed off multiple times), selling them via online or face-to-face transfer would require a lot of trust on the other side...

I'm 40 in September so I reckon I class as an oldie but this will be my 4th Boomtown and the 2nd time I've gone solo, last year being the 1st. I'm more than happy to be in on a tinterweb related meetup bop :)

VERY EXCITED!

Got all my volunteering details today and it's cheered me right up on a rather un-well afternoon

81 venues to get around this year it seems - according to those who've been on site it's all coming along very nicely

I decided this morning that I want to do a festival next week and whilst looking to see what's on I noticed that Boomtown still needs bar staff. As it happens I had already registered with Festival Volunteer previously, so I thought I'd give them a call to see if they were still looking for people. As it turns out this is the last day you can register, so I got myself a place and now I'm really looking forward to my first festival as a volunteer, and my first Boomtown Fair!

The more the merrier! My first time and first volunteering too - it's a brave new world of free(ish) festivalling.

Hello, I'm new here... I've been googling around trying to find out who's playing on Thursday night... My partner's found she can't get away from work in time to get there in time for the 10pm shut-off :(
I could get an earlier lift with mates, but I'd rather travel with her. What is thursday night like? Will I be hugely missing out? And does anyone have a clue who'll be playing?
Many thanks
Dorje x
