i'll always have a soft spot for Oasis. i know they're shit, but there's still a massive nostalgia element there for me and i often find myself with one of their songs stuck in my head out of the blue. wouldn't want them to headline, though, or reform any time soon either. far too soon. give it another ten years when people have had a chance to miss them somewhat

Oasis were a great band, they didn't do anything new or exciting, but in the field of balls-to-the-wall, shit-kicking guitar pop rock, they pretty much perfected the art. People like to hate Oasis because they're a shower of tossers and the grunting masses love them.

Isn't being a shower of tossers a good enough reason to be hated, alone. I think the reason people may hate oasis is because they stole the music from the Beatles , T. Rex and status quo , refused to evolve , claimed everything they did was the best thing they or anyone else had ever done and subjected us to album after album of the same shite . That said , the last album was probably the freshest they had sounded in a decade. All too late . Liam's voice is ruined to boot.
