dentalplan
They're not normal dates. They're PCPC and Parkay Quarts dates and that apparently means something else.
TenInchToenaiIs
Oh yeah, I didn't really read the article tbh. just saw the headline assumed it was a co-headline tour thing and found the dates
Gucci Piggy
New Julian's a bit weird again, but p cool. Skip to about 45:00... http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b04gr4gj
dentalplan
New Weezer album track is pretty good. Also checked out the credits of the album and there isn't that much co-writer influence so that's good if you were concerned by that like I was. And even then Justin Hawkins co-writes one which might be fun/terrible.
Andre91
I liked that new Weezer track too. I heard that new Fall Out Boy song as well. It's just the same tripe as what was on Save Rock and Roll. F**king Fall Out Boy. Edited September 9, 2014 by Andre91

And even then Justin Hawkins co-writes one which might be fun/terrible. it's alright. sounds better than Back To The Shack which just sounded incredibly Weezer-by-numbers. not holding out too much hope for this new album - i'm just happy to have a new Weezer album / that it raises the chances of them touring New Julian's a bit weird again, but p cool. Skip to about 45:00... http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b04gr4gj i only listened to both of his new songs yesterday and i surprisingly really like them. never been much of a Strokes fan but will definitely be checking out this new album of his

But yeah Back to the Shack was really mundane and I guess most of the general favour of that track was borne from it being the first track in four years. My expectations are similarly low of the album but I suppose that makes it easier to impress, if it does. Julian Casablancas' tracks are really cool. It's nice to see him actually trying to do something completely out there. The album is gonna be loooooooong though.
FloorFiller
maybe my expectations are just far too high and i get annoyed when a band releases exactly what i expect them to release the album can't be any worse than Raditude, at least, and Rivers has said that this album is an attempt to go back to those early days, so even though it won't nearly reach those heights, at least they're trying to go in the right direction

dentalplan
Has anyone checked out the two tracks of Weezer's that were 'accidentally' uploaded to Japanese iTunes and are subsequently floating around? One is alright; the other is one of the best tracks they've ever done and has made me kind of emotional because everything might just be alright in the end.
