It does but you also don't actually need to pre-order - if you follow the link, there's an option to sign up to the mailing list without making a purchase. I've done both, just in case, even though I'm already on the mailing list.

Buying tickets for a gig in September could also alleviate any Avalanches/Solange clash issues too Annoyingly I'm unavailable Monday morning so it's main sale for me.

High Violet is probably still my favourite, although it varies. Will you be going there next?

I like to think they improve with each album. So ranking is easy for me. TWFM, Violet, Boxer, Alligator, Sad Songs, The National. 

New album will evidently be a stunner.

I dunno, that'd mean six or seven nights in a row wouldn't it? Be impressive if they pulled it off.

Also Gabriel Iglesias, whoever the hell he is, is playing on the 29th.

£48 to see them in Dublin, plus it'll probably cost me around £30 return from Belfast.. Talking nearly £80 for a The National ticket . I might have to give this one a miss unless I miraculously get a job staying in the North West within the next week so I can avoid deportation back to the motherland.

Similar journey for us (Bath). It's annoying when you see a 4 night run and not one is on a weekend night! Got kids to get to school in the morning.

I cannot explain it, any other, any other way. Loving the new song after two listens. Will be going to one of the Edinburgh dates, a lot on around then so can't go both nights.

Really like the song, but the "I can't explain it..." bit reminds me a lot of "Dying is easy..." bit of the song Lean and I keep mixing them in my head now.
