Nice one. Was considering emailing / tweeting them myself. Will definitely do so now. I looked at some of their hour long summer festival sets, and yeah, we're looking at 13/14 songs

Yep, and hardly anything from Trouble Will Find Me. Essentially all the obvious choices - Bloodbuzz, Terrible Love, Mistaken For Strangers, Don't Swallow The Cap, Fake Empire... then see you later.

Please do fire off some emails/tweets. I think it's a bit misleading to bill the festival and sell tickets based on The National being the main event, then put them on for essentially a support slot.

I'm so annoyed about this, especially since the venue has a late licence anyway and could go on past midnight. Here's hoping there's few technical issues on the night otherwise they'll get even less time being on last. Either that or we can hope Jake Bugg can't make it.

I'm watching that Sydney gig now after keeping an eye on this thread recently, they sound fantastic.

I invested a lot of time in that last album (other than Mr November I know little else from them). Took a while but it has been absolutely worth it, I cannot stop playing it now.

yeah pretty much my feelings exactly, im loving the band and could quite easily get completely obsessed but ive had to stop all that as now im starting to feel they wont be playing the festival this year now

i really am gonna be gutted as well and i blame it all on ZMG for making me get into them!

Kind of justified my decision to sell my ticket hearing that, bit shit for those going. Weighed it up and decided I was really arsed about seeing Franz and BBC etc - may do the Edinburgh date instead depending on funds etc. Nevertheless hope you enjoy it on Sat!

They absolutely killed it last night! Still feeling pretty fragile and it was an endurance test to sit through Jake Bugg and Franz Ferdinand but they were incredible. Faultless. Atmosphere was amazing too, better than Ally Pally, despite the warehouse being quite a crap venue. I think they also played longer than expected too. I love them so much it actually hurts.

Abel would be my crack pipe recommendation. That was so good!

Apartment Story, England and Vanderlyle all destroyed me in the best possible way.
