I hope if they play the O2 again that its not during the glasto weekend. That would be a proper kick in the teeth. Would deffo make it if it was the Monday night after although I will be that stinky bastard in the crowd that everyone hates.

I can't see them doing any gigs myself, what do others think? They've toured this album twice aleady over here and seem to just be doing the festival circuit in Europe. Could be wrong though.

I'm currently thinking maybe a day ticket for Latitude and then maybe Glasto (if lucky) or Electric Picnic.

That is possibly the most distinctively average Latitude first announcement I've seen for a while. I've been three times and always enjoyed myself, but I do get the feeling that it's becoming terribly 'safe' and uninspired. I'd pretty much always choose Green Man over Latitude now, if I was looking outside of the SuperFence.

Yeah I'm usually pretty wowed by the Latitude lineup but this years.. not so much. Nothing particularly bad, just nothing particularly thrilling either

a shame for sure. of 4 acts that were at top of my 'reasonable hopes' list this year (and all of them w/ similar types of listening audience), The National, Radiohead, Wilco, PJ Harvey, i thought there was a chance of getting all 4, or reasonably 3-of-4...we have PJ Harvey, but extremely nervous about Radiohead and even Wilco now (friday gig in Montenegro).

My feelings on Latitude too - might try and volunteer or something but it's not gripped me by the balls enough to want a weekend or day ticket. If only the Friday undercard was on the Saturday...
