Obligatory problem though; wouldn't Metallica's biggest con be that they won't have a new album? It would be a bloody con if they headlined without one. We've only got Black_Crow's word they're 'doing Soni' and that's disputed by Luckysalt, who wins the almighty source war.

'Two short treks into Europe' will probably mean early June and early July won't it? I think they'll have their own large show announced when Sonisphere sells out.

Blimey! The last time soni had to cancel it but now they are going to sell out and before like a week or two before!

I didn't say anything about a week or two. A 60k capacity event with Metallica and Iron Maiden headline is not going to fail to sell out though.
