Darlia - Being hyped by BBC introducing (just did a session with them and also being played quite a bit) and they said in a BBC interview they have lots of festivals coming up... Putting two and two together im thinking R&L?

Rock trio from Blackpool and they are getting quite big judging purely from their Youtube hits...

I'm not sold on them quite yet. I think I could like them but I'd need to hear an album or something first. Their appearance and some of their songs very blatantly ape Nirvana but they seem to have a bit more to them than just that.

That tUnE-yArDs song is quite decent (although that bass part at the start sounds annoyingly like BBC) but they're not really new and certainly won't be anywhere near R+L.

Eh yeah I heard of them a couple of months back and I wasn't particularly fond of them. I'd definitely give their album a chance, but that Queen of hearts song in particular is pretty bad.

Saw them support The Family Rain in february. Excellent live band - full of energy and nearly everyone in that crowd was enjoying themselves! Met them afterwards, had a brief chat about their upcoming tour + festivals (they had just been announced for Truck & Y Not). Can easily see them at Reading And Leeds.
