Also my brother's friend works in a pub in Norwich, and served a Northerner who asked for chips and gravy, and he told him that isn't a thing. Sigh.

You can get beans in chippies across Yorkshire but I don't think it's particularly popular.

I've been told I couldn't even get gravy with my fish and chips in Manchester before. They're not proper northerners there.

It's a bank holiday today. If he's anything like the rest of the users on here, I'm sure mrtourette saves his eFestivals time until he's meant to be working. I think he said he was gonna do something with the live performances or R+L so we can wait a day or so.
