festival recommendations for psytrance / techno / minimal / house festivals

Hi,

Last year, by chance I discovered about Life Festival (in Ireland), and went there and it was absolutely amazing in my opinion. I'm from Malta, and had previously never heard about such a festival. I really liked the fact that it was small, and had especially music from psy-trance, techno and electronic apart from the location was superb.

Are there any recommendations to any similar festivals which might not be so much known or famous around non-locals? I'm looking for festivals which contain music both from the techno/electronic scene and psy-trance as well (sometimes called just trance or progressive trance, but not the 'Tiesto' trance, which I don't like).

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Not exactly my scene, but one of my cousins is always banging on about Ozora in Hungary. I saw a video of it once and it did look pretty amazing.

Will add Boom festival in Portugal it is mainly psytrance but it is a gorgeous location. Last week of July/first week of August.

For a small and definitely atmospheric event

I recommend Transylvania Calling, beginning of September.

There is also the Tree of Life festival in Turkey over the summer solstice, says Psy//Progressive/chill out.

Or how about Momentous Demento festival in Croatia in July? There is a link on this page about it sounds very cool. Always fancied going to Croatia and they have quite a range of musical styles?
