Yeah good call. I`d be happy with them on the main stage but it would really have to be dark and late. Belle and Sebastian were also in my squad as they are out and about this summer but not sure they would shift tickets for KC now a days. I see you also had Chic in your list. Quality. Reckon they would do it IF they are here and touring at the time. They played just about everywhere else last year.

Theres no way itll be 25k cnumb,, theyll probably try an push capacity up to around 18k maybes a little more. The arena and main stage areas couldnt take a crowd of 25k without it being rammed and a health and safety risk, would take a major increase in arena space to cope with that crowd.

the extended capacity licence they applied for in 2012 was for a maximum of 19 999 which is still in place as far as im aware, that figure was to include people working at the festival as well

My bad ramsir. I thought they were already at 20k plus. They would need to sell out however many tickets they are allowed to be able to pay for my extravagant line-up picks !

Gonna see Rod Jones at the Barra`s in a couple of weeks so summer dates could be on. Maybe more likely for Wickerman the weekend before. Have seen them there before.

I see De La Soul have announced a couple of festival dates...

Never considered them before. Good shout. Have also just realised the connection with the current Southern Comfort advert. We used to take the piss outa anyone who drank that up my way but the guy with the boots is one cool dude.

Y Not has been announced, who would you like to see come across to Kendal? I would like White Lies, but not to headline. The fratellis, Catfish and the bottlemen and Darlia.

Dizzee Rascal, and White Lies have been announced as headliners for this summer's Y-Not Festival, which takes place from Friday 1st until Sunday 3rd August 2014 near Matlock in Derbyshire.

The first names anonunced for the line-up also includes The Fratellis, Newton Faulkner, Reel Big Fish, Andrew WK, The Blackout, Cerebral Ballzy, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Itch, Eliza and The Bear, Lonely The Brave, Darlia, Night Engine, Best Friends, Flyte, Brawlers, Nothing But Thieves, Nordic Giants, Black Moth, The First, Youth Man, and

White Lies, Darlia, Black Moth, Itch, Eliza & The Bear, Nothing but Thieves, Nordic Giants, Andrew WK are all at Truck festival a couple of weeks earlier so I'd expect at least one or two to be at KC as they seem to be doing the rounds. Wouldn't mind the White Lies but think they would be a headliner and would prefer The Specials.
