The Space To Put Predictions And Then Provide Feedback Or Bold Bands If You Want To Show People Who You Like Thread

Recommended Posts

The suggestion of BMTH subbing should have the piss taken out of it way more though. Comparable to when Matt was afraid YMAS would headline.

Where has people got this idea from? They didn't even sell out Wembley (or if they did, it was at the last second) which was one of 3 shows in the UK.

regards to Jamie T being so high, jake bugg had the same slot last year and surprised a lot of people

going off the fact that Jamie T was second billed on the first announcement as was bugg last year

and yeah I agree with you on royal blood they'll push them as far up as they can, really can't picture them in third but I suppose if vaccines did it in 2012

hard to judge for me how big DFA1979 and TWOD especially with a leeds crowd

I know TWOD are playing similar sized venues to what palma violets, band of skulls etc where last year

and both bands are albeit very popular their followings are somewhat cultlike which made me think a headlining slot on FR is more likely than an afternoon slot on NME or main

Great shout with Simon Neil as ZCC, and Mac DeMarco, though both too low for me. Years & Years wouldn't headline 1Xtra I don't think. I think the Deadmau5 slot looks good, but I don't think he'd play NME as well as Knife Party.

Can I ask the reasoning behind all the Linkin Park predictions? Just curious as to where they came from is all.

They're doing a festival in Europe (not sure where, Germany I think) in August so they're around.

Yeah, that and Melvin said one headliner (actually I don't think he specified it was a headliner, but he probably meant a headliner) has had a number one album in the last year, and Linkin Park are one of the few likely candidates that fit that criteria.

Also the new booking guy seems to be a massive melt with a raging hard on for absolutely w*nk used-to-be-relevant rock bands like Blink, Papa Roach and Linkin Park. I'd be predicting Limp Bizkit if it wasn't for them being around early-Summer (actually so are Gaslight, so I may replace them with Limp Bizkit, sounds shit enough to happen).
