Well then - never listened to him before (had in my mind that he was just another lightweight pop act) but that performance posted above is pretty good! Will be investigating further.

He was on BBC Breakfast this morning. Never been a particular fan, but loved his new tracks/sound. Might invest in the album on the back of it.

No idea what it's called but the 3rd song he does on the Friday show (presuming it's played in correct order) was fantastic.

Been a massive fan since he started and managed to get tickets for his comeback show in February, played majority of new album and was fantastic (even better live) and interestingly played his older songs in a new arrangement similar to Caustic Love style, he's really improved I'd say.

Jeez, that's one hell of a great song! if you haven't heard it then I would recommend giving it a listen

Might be tempted to listen to more of his stuff, I never thought he would be my cup of tea

I'm still reeling from his performance with the rolling stones at isle of wight. It was truly grim. That and that song he did about a pair of shoes is all I know (which I found dreadful).

Has he got better then?

i've tried and tried to get into him, for years... and have even now listened to all the suggestions on here...and he just has never done anything for me unfortunately. I mean, i know he's appreciated by a lot - and the Stones gave him a pretty visible platform of respect - but I just can't seem to get him

The debuts not awful, its just very radio friendly compared to the other two. You can tell he's really expressed his influences and musical tastes more on the other two, theres all sorts of stuff going on on the second album and the third gets better every time I listen to it.
