First announcement next week (Wednesday 5th March) so I suppose it all starts there.

I believe the camping is extending to Thursday, which is good as it was pretty tough to get to in time for the start of the music last time around. Also it takes place a weekend earlier so I'd expect a few more acts shared with Bestival and EOTR and, crucially, it might mean better weather!

Quite a strange one moving the date, had the weekend later pretty much to themself.

Although I'm sure the weather is a consideration.

Yeah the weather & more acts being available from EOTR, Electric Picnic & Bestival must have played a part in the dates moving... Unless there's some other reason relating to the site as to why it had to be moved.

First announcement tomorrow morning on 6music breakfast show.

There'll probably be only one, maybe two headliners announced tomorrow, but I'm gonna plump for The Charlatans, Portishead and The Horrors for the overall headers.

Could be wrong but if the Horrors aren't headlining EOTR, which is about the same capacity, I doubt they'll headline this. Also I'm not sure the Charlatans are going to be active here this summer, Tim's playing a few solo festival dates.

Odd that Outkast, after the publicity for their reformation tour, are now a little way down the Bestival bill, as if they're planning to play another UK festival while in Europe...

I thought that but I'm not sure Spiritualized or James Blake would quite headline EOTR either. I figured there must be a thing about weaker Friday headliners.

The Charlatans definitely seem active and I think FN6 would be top of their list for the UK. I think Tim Burgess is just doing a couple of DJ sets. Could end up just doing a DJ set at FN6 though.

They opened main stage last year. They're headlining a new festival here in Nottingham in June, but its 10,000 capacity. Bit of an odd one that.

Aye, I was there. They had just about the biggest crowd of the weekend after Chic and Manics. Just a bit weird that an act largely unknown this time last year is now headlining the same festival as Beck. No big deal though, they're nice enough and the undercard is good.

Beck I can take or leave, London Grammar are an odd choice to headline. Alexis Taylor, Los Camp and Steve Mason will all do nicely though, there are conversations currently taking place about a group of my friends possibly going so we'll see.

I was really hoping for Beck after seeing he was at Bestival. His new album is sublime.

I'm really impressed by this lineup as a first announcement. There's Loads of variety.

I've seen Temples and East India Youth play live before and will be happy to see them again. Especially as both have since released new albums that are really great.

John Wizards will be ace, his album was a real highlight for me last year. He's got a very interesting background.

I know James Holden's album last year was well received. I haven't given it much time yet though.

Lots to look forward to already.
