peterbread
Just wondering, I've been to festivals before and at Oxegen there was free shuttle buses into the local town and we did that everyday where we went and stocked up on beer and got something to eat. Is there something similar here? Where's the closest town with a shop like a tesco or spar or something like that? Liverpool is a bit away and I'd imagine it would be expensive and hard to get a taxi there everyday. Are Taxi's to Liverpool expensive and are they most expensive due to the weekend that is in it? I am just wondering in general as flights look ok but I am wondering how much I would need and trying to compare it to the last festival I was at. Thanks. lily92
It depends, sounds a lot of hassle to me but if you're doing 3 day camping you won't be allowed out and back in anyway
5tevieB
Hi Peter I normally fly to Manchester on the Thurs and get the train to Warrington in the morning. A taxi from their to the campsite is around £10/£15. Once your in the site that's it u can't go out and in again. If u want a taxi from/to Liverpool then it will cost the same no matter what. The taxis are on meters so the can't overcharge
