kemosabe
Taking Jake Bugg with them? I just want jake bugg to go away for ever. he is boring and he isnt that popular and yet he carries on getting amazing slots.
A13
Maroon 5's european tour ends mid-June so that's them ruled out (again) Could still do it if enough money was thrown their way. One Republic could do V as well, maybe on the MTV stage around 3rd from top The Killers headlined this year and were well out of the Battle Born touring schedule, so possible. His second record pretty much died on its arse so hopefully one more flop and we'll be free forever. The Killers headlined this year and were well out of the Battle Born touring schedule, so possible. hopefully not though :-)
benus80
Maroon 5's european tour ends mid-June so that's them ruled out (again) That is surely good news! As they would have probably end up subbing or headlining. I think they are not a bad band but I think their are so overrated compare to some british bands. Ps I like jake bugg well his music anyway. Anthonym93
Usually the same week as the line up is announced - towards the end of February going on previous years!
Rose-Colored Boy
Yeah it's been the first Friday of March both of the last two years. :-)
Rose-Colored Boy
Can see Reading nabbing Brandon Flowers, The Vaccines and either of the headlines, don't think Tinie or Rita would be back again, and I'd assume Ben Howard and The 1975 will be in there somewhere, but otherwise yeah looks pretty good

Rose-Colored Boy
Are Mumfords supposed to be back next Summer? No idea. Thought their residency thing at Glasto would signal the return to public life for them but it's all gone a bit quiet again.

Matt42
Anyone considered Taylor Swift as a headliner? her new album has sold something like 600,000 copies in it's first day and it is looking to be the fastest selling album by a female ever. She's also a touring super power right? V would probably sell a lot of tickets with her on the bill. I was going to suggest her as a sub but she looks to be far too big for that. kingcrawler
I was thinking that she'd headline Radio 1's Big Weekend next year, but yeah she's probably one of the likelier candidates if V have a female headliner next year. Too big to sub anyway.

Too big to sub anyway. It'd be a very different booking, but she's far too big to do anything but headline right now. She's the best selling artist of this decade.
