I've never been to Kendal Calling before but think it looks brill and the acts announced so far are amazing!

Just wondering what kind of stuff there is to do at night, as i've only been to Leeds Fest before where there is the silent disco and stuff. Is there similar things here?

Also if anyone has been to y-not as well as this one what are the differences between the two as i'm trying to make a decision between them!

Thank you!

also what's the vibe of the festival in general, is it quite family-y?

Yeah...theres normally one dance dj and one slightly less dance-y DJ. We caught a cracking indie set a couple of years ago...its in this little woodland area, so you're there, 2am, 'well-oiled', got the Strokes blasting out along with 150 or so like-minded individuals, surrounded by trees looking up at a star-filled clear sky...the kind of memories you can't buy!

Vibes a bit mixed, it is quite family orientated, but then you get a fair few teens and stag do's etc. Generally speaking though everybody is sound as

I'm aware this has been a dead threat for months, but as a first time festival goer this year, you have intensified the excited for me with that post. Cheers
