Hey guys, I'm pretty sure i am in the same position as alot of people, and lots of people would benefit if it was answered. How strict is cream on ID? I'm 6ft4, decent sized 17 year old, will they ID me? I have my mates ID and we look fairly similar, but its not a 100% cert it will work? Is it worth the risk? Any other info on this subject will be much appriciated.

They will ID you.

You run the risk having your friends ID seized, possible ejection if its an 18+ fest & worse getting yourself cuffed for fraud or someone else for buying you alcohol.

Not everyone gets ID'd but as couchy says if you do get caught you'll be kicked out and your friends ID seized. I saw plenty of ppl the looked way too young last year in the camp site.

Surely if i just keep my head down and don't act up i will be fine? The ID should work..........I've already bought my ticket so I might aswell try.

Should just wait for 1 more year, you'd enjoy it loads more and be miles more relaxed about it all rather than being on edge through the whole festival

Hi Mate, I've been the past two years and this year will be my third time, you'll have the best weekend trust me. I first went when i was 17, and when you arrive before getting your wristband there are often people standing around, who have bands for ID. By this i mean, when you show your ID to them, they give you the band so when trying to buy alcohol etc in the festival you do not have to carry your ID around with you. When i went, i just showed her my ID (which looked similar to myself but not perfect) and she gave me the band, and from that point onwards i did not have to show my ID again all weekend and it was absolutely fine.

You should be okay as long as you have an ID which you can get away with, which you do!

Mate, you are an absolute champion. Thanks a lot for that. Went out in town this weekend, bouncers didn't look twice at it. Got in whilst lots of people were being turned away. Cheers mate, have a sick festival!!
