I think its game over for me. Hopefully someone will want to buy my tickets when it sells out - Think I am going to go to Y not instead.

There just really isnt enough of what I like at this festival - They dont even have British Sea power which I thought was a given

I thinik I am stuck in the 00's! ha ha

I know people say its not all about the music.. but if I am paying over 100 quid to go to a festival it actually is about the music for me. If i want to get drunk and camp with my mates I will go camping.

Seen them twice before and they are BRILLIANT live. A nice mix of OCS singles and some of the lesser known tracks. The woodland will indeed be very special. Though I want to see Suede so hopefully there will be a bit of a discrepancy in the start/end times!!

There's a fair amount of low tempo, downbeat acts this year, so they need someone catchy that's going to have everybody bouncing up and down. Elbow won't do that - they're the sort of music you listen to at home on your own.

The Woodland stage is similar to calling out where the times are pretty stringent because both stages have alternate uses after they close. The woodland becomes the silent disco and the calling put becomes the cinema

Chic and " special guest " Jimmy Cliff was one of my many guesses after the headliners were announced the other week. Would rather that than something like Tinie Tempah / Lily Allen.

A headliner couldn't be a 'special guest' could they?? Maybe its Elbow and Chic subbing as Chic seem to get the tag 'very special guest' every festival they do

With Chic & Nile headlining Bestival and their success in the last year I would imagine they are "too big" to headline Kendal currently, sadly... Hope I'm wrong though!
