Lock Up 2014

Seeing as there's only 4 bands I want to see announced so far (Drenge, JEW, Hives and Blink) I'm hoping the lock up can persuade me to keep my ticket!

Who do we reckon? I'm saying Against me! And Flogging Molly for the headliners but I'd love any if the following to play;

Menzingers

Gnarwolves

Dropkick Murphy's

Jimmy eat world (secret set?)

Rancid (say it every year not gonna happen)

Every Time I Die, Baby Godzilla, Arcane Roots and Giants for me please. I think letlive will play there as well but that doesn't really matter as I'm seeing them regardless

Dropkick Murphys would be great - going to see them in July and just noticed there only playing 3 dates as well as Sonisphere.

The Lawrence Arms - I would love to see these again as well, new album out earlier this year, but I have no idea if they play festivals - I know they don't approve of Warped in the U.S..

Any chance of The Transplants? - Travis Barker would already be here.

I think Mike Davies said Rancid are too expensive, on the Main Stage would be nice though, don't think they've played since 2003.

Is the Lock Up definitely there this year? All this talk of Rock Stage / Pit is making me nervous. Mike D does not seem to be mentioning on his Facebook page.

If it is gone, then Reading is surely the new V.

Right im not really into the lock up stage music (always willing to give stuff a try if anyone has any recommendations )... however would any of these bands have amazing live performances/ crowds which i can look out for in future announcements?

A few more thoughts today about bands with new albums out this year,

• Against Me! (as mentioned above)
• Mad Caddies
• Morning Glory
• The Interrupters

And for the Main Stage - Rise Against (again, as mentioned above) and Billy Talent would be great additions.

I'm also relying on the lock up to save the festival but not confident.

Old firm Casuals are in the UK in August so they would be a good shout.

OFF! have got a new album out and will prob be touring (or even Flag?)

Wilhelm scream on tour at the mo so may come back.

Also, Gnarwolves again please,missed them last time.

Mainly tho, could do with some big hitters like Bad Religion. Pennywise or NoFX

Bit of a cop out getting Jimmy Eat World to headline after playing a main stage set.

They've done this before with JEW. Not impressed.
