i seen the amazing snakeheads support franz ferdinand before NME started spunking over them and i honestly thought they were the worst band i had ever seen live!

they seem to be getting wuite the buzz recently but i cant help but think that has a bit to do with NME.

unless they have a new lineup or something ?

I've heard of a few bands now supporting Franz and not going over well. Maybe it's the crowd not knowing what to do with their hands while not clapping along. :P

I don't really read the NME, just heard them on 6music quite a lot but I believe they do have new personnel.

they gave off a punk vibe to me when i seen them (my favourite music btw)

but when i seen them they had the overambitious, egotistical frontman, a drummer who looked like a middle aged plumber and a guitarist (maybe bass player) who looked like he was just our of boarding school.

just didnt get them

Given the reaction in king Tuts, Passenger must at least be promoted to radio 1 in the early evening or and afternoon slot on the main.

I really hope to see The Amazing Snakeheads back next year, hopefully they have a big enough bounce to warrant King Tuts next year.

I didn`t see them but Wickerman booked them a whille back for this year and it looks like they are getting a decent slot in their Solus Tent. Will probably check them out there.

So efestivals is saying tickets go on sale Friday, there'll be 7 main stages (more than this year even if you count bbc introducing and T break). More interestingly we're warned to expect some changes, shift back towards rock musc on the horizon or a shift to unashamed pop festival?

Sounds interesting, hopefully a stage for edm djs, stage for rock acts etc that would be superb.

i cant get my head around why people think that calvin harris is gonna headline for a second year in a row. absolute lunacy

The question should be why do you think he wont?

I would not be surprised in the slightest if the rumour about him being booked every year is true.

Fine,he's played everywhere else must be his shot for the big wheel.

Out of interest is there any other festival in the world who has the same headliner there every year??
