Fezzy_buzzer
Is it just me who prefers tokens then? There is hardly ever queue for tokens and it saves waiting for change when you buy your beer, or having to work out the money you owe them. Just '4 beers please' give 4 tokens and off you go. Waiting for change is going to slow it down massively!! Also, are they taking the piss with these stage splits? At least my tickets have turned up, and now I'm massively excited!!! The Man with a Plan
Ella Henderson has disappeared from the web sites line up. I messaged T In The Park to ask if she had cancelled and they did see the message but bizarrely didn't reply. Sunday is looking really bare now. The Man with a Plan
Sunday is the best day lol, by a country! Saturday is a joke. It's still looking a bit slim by number of acts though. The clashfinder has Sunday music starting at 3pm which can't be right. Oh and they have confirmed in a Facebook comment that the stage splits are coming next week. Hopefully the map will come too. stu150
I think the lineup looks quite bare too - not just for number of acts (using efestivals listings we're about 50 acts down on last year) but also for number of more well known acts - but I guess a line up is quite subjective. There also isn't the usual (+ more to be announced) that they normally have on the lineup. Do we think this is all we're getting? Would this be because they perhaps stopped booking acts as they weren't 100% sure it was going a head and they've kinda run out of time - I would assume T would have to pay performers at least a deposit at the time of booking them? Or, are they trying to offset some of the costs of moving sites by giving a lesser (in both quality and number of acts) lineup. I know they said that it was costing £x-million to move at this wouldn't be passed on to the fans - but we all know it will come from the fans and not profit just in sneaker ways? stu150
On another note they seem to have spent a bomb on advertising this year - I've seen sponsered posts on Facebook, etc virtually every day. It would be quite interesting to see a comparison between both numbers & spending om acts and spendng on advertising (I know we would never get to see this) from back in the hey day when it sold out in half an hour - to today when the event doesn't sell out anymore. craig94
Elaborate? Gonna presume he means the video T posted on their snapchat of a new member joining the T team and everybody has put 2 and 2 together and figured out that it's Grado. Grado is a Scottish professional wrestler who is actually pretty popular online and within the independent wrestling scene here's his wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grado_(wrestler).No idea what T is planning to use him for but interesting none the less. stu150
I have seen posters in Glasgow but have never seen any in Aberdeen ever. I thin I've seen a billboard in Aberdeen once - but it was a number of years ago. I think I've also been handed flyers after a gig at the AECC or music hall (although I may be confusing this with something else) But yeah they do tend to concentrate advertising on the central belt.
