Gucci Piggy
Be bloody harder to miss muse this year than actually seeing them. Think it just seems that way at the moment because they're in the frame for most festivals. In reality they'll do one or two of them and that'll be it. Matt42
Kasabian, libertines/Calvin Harris, coldplay I reckon. Just judging by who is where Kasabian to play T & V libertines to play t & R&l Coldplay as festival exclusive
devilman
Muse at Download. I reckon that leaves one more major festival in the UK. Can't see it being T.
foolee
Why does it leave one more major festival? Edited November 12, 2014 by foolee
devilman
Because I can't see them doing more than 2 in the UK. I can't see it being T because big sections of the music industry agree with me that DF are weapons grade fucktards. K.Thx.Bai.
foolee
Fair enough. Don't even know that they'd do 2 now download have announced. Only other festival I could see them doing is IOW because they don't really have much crossover appeal.
Matt42
Muse will probably do download and iow
DomDom1984
I can't see Muse at Download. I can see that being the predicted KISS, AC/DC, Slipknot trio. Which frees Muse up for T, and I can see them doing Glastonbury as well.

DomDom1984
Didn't realise that. I'll go for Download and T in the Park then. Then they'll bugger off to some other part of the world for the rest of the summer.

DomDom1984
As I've said before, they wouldn't be the first band to make such a trip. Infact, loads of bands make similar trips every summer. Granted it's a bit more rare for headliners to do it, but it's not out of the question. Matt42
I don't see Muse playing T this year Neither, I reckon if coldplay are doing stadium shows T might nab them as their only festival date. Similar to rihanna in 2013. Would Kasabian, Libertines/Calvin Harris, Coldplay work? Edited November 15, 2014 by Matt42

Nach
Hi! Can someone tell me more about this festival? how atmosphere? What time does the concerts start and end? Me and some friends have in mind travel from Spain to TITP, if we like the lineup sure. Travel from Spain to TITP is expensive, but worth it? I'd say it's better than going to R&L, scottish are friendly and the weather can sometimes be great (but sometimes bad). Arena is pretty small but the crowds are massive, start midday and end at midnight. Go if you like music that's popular right now, as that's who's likely to be booked. If you go - you'l have a good time.

Chiefski
Will add myself to people ruling out Muse now. Florence and The Machine or The Libertines Noel Gallagher with The Prodigy post-headlining Kasabian as the main acts, potential undercard including some of The Strokes, The Black Keys, Iggy Pop (not supporting Foos at Murrayfield seemingly) Bastille, Maroon 5, The Script, Frank Turner, Belle and Sebastian, Rita Ora, FKA Twigs, Idlewild, Young Fathers, The Gaslight Anthem, Jamie T, Alt-J, Feeder/Grant Nicholas, Interpol, Alabama Shakes
DomDom1984
Noel Gallagher is a good shout for that co-headline slot actually. Florence and the Machine headlining outright would be cool as hell but don't know if T would do that. It'd more likely be The Libertines.
