kingcrawler
I can't see Paolo being back sp quickly given how high profile his slot this year was. He'll headline whenever his next album's out.
Rose-Colored Boy
Not gonna headline but I suspect Paulo Nutini will be back. Why would he not headline if he was back?
SilverLining
Personally I don't think Paolo Nutini will be back, he's still touring the same album and as far as I am aware no new material is coming out. Hes not grown in popularity so I don't see why T would have him back two years in a row especially considering he playing quite high up last year. Rose-Colored Boy
He said he had another album ready to go that he'd like to put out as soon as possible when he was doing the promo for Caustic Love, but yeah he'd only sub or headline for the second year in a row if he came back again which would make T look very weak. Especially if Calvin Harris does the same also.

Can't see Calvin Harris being back either hes becoming increasingly more expensive to book and surely those responsible for booking acts at T will know that after headlining last year it wouldn't make sense to have him playing any other stage. Booking someone else of similar value could probably boost ticket sales a lot more. If either of the two acts got announced without an undercard stronger than brock lesnar then i'd be so dissappointed. I honestly do have my highest hopes for the T line-up in the past 5 years. New site etc great opportunity to change the line-up up etc.
seumasbeathan
Was listening to Paulo on Radio 2 this morning and he was talking about a new album being in the works(I think). I just have a feeling he will be back, could even headline I suppose. Really hope Calvin isn't though. Even when drunk off ma tits, his set was very weak. DomDom1984
If he has a new album in time, he'll headline I reckon. Which I'm not a fan of personally, but I could see why they'd go down that route.
FloorFiller
Neil has info that he's headlining Latitude, so i can't see him doing both (especially as he only subbed T this year)

kingcrawler
Aviici playing Dublin July 3rd.... Brave yourselves Hmm, can see him playing last on the Saturday then, probably a bit too big for the Radio 1 Stage.
DomDom1984
Not sure that he's too big for Radio 1. Calvin Harris did it in 2013 when he was bigger than Avicii is.

I thought he was quite big, seem to remember his bellahouston gig in 2013 selling well? Better than David Guetta's one this year anyway. Rose-Colored Boy
Yeah Avicii's been massively popular ever since Wake Me Up but he's definetely not where Calvin Harris was in 2013.
DomDom1984
Aye, he's big. But my point was pretty big artists have done it before, so I think him doing it wouldn't be out of the question. We still don't know if the Saturday night thing is happening next year as well. If it is, I wouldn't be surprised to see Avicii on there. There's a few candidates for the spot though, with The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers and David Guetta possibles for it too. Gucci Piggy
People keep talking about this late night Saturday dance act that will play in addition to the headliner. Have people forgotten that the dance act this year was the headliner? If there is a Saturday dance act it's likely to be a headliner with a standard sub rather than a dance act with a headliner playing before them. That is to say, it's more likely that it'd be David Guetta with The Vaccines on before than to be Kasabian with The Prodigy playing afterwards. Not sure if I worded that well but oh well. SilverLining
Although I thought the late licence last year was quality & did actually end of going to see calvin harris I thought because so many people just piled towards the main stage it was so incredibly busy. If they were to get someone like prodigy or chems i'd prefer it to be at the normal time then the 'dj' slot afterwards. I'd be really happy if the prodigy etc were NME headliners, I much prefer the stage out of the two outdoor ones and have a big mainstream act on the main stage. Im gonna have a punt at headliners for the three main stages mostly my preference which means it will never happen: MAIN: Kasabian/Strokes/Muse NME: Chem Bros/Alt-J/Prodigy TUTS: Chic feat Nile Rodgers/Basement Jaxx/Skrillex Obviously that would be clashes hell for me but any 2/3 im sold. seumasbeathan
I think Avicii would headline the Radio 1 Stage personally.

DomDom1984
Time for another definite prediction. The Strokes will absolutely not be headlining T in the Park next year. I can see them playing though.

He played this year. He's also got a few gigs that weekend.
