Slipknot have since told England that they will see them in a field near Milton Keynes. This means most definitely gigs other than Download. If they are at T I shall attend with a little picnic hamper full of Pimms and cucumber sarnies.

Slipknot at T ?? Surely you're falling into the TITP January pre announcement hope. Beware early Feb when those dreams get well and truly hoofed in the baws when the usual disappointing suspects get announced.

Yeah an arena tour PLUS Download PLUS a Scottish castle gig PLUS an English MK gig does seem like too much but then again they'd sold out the Hydro in the presale just about. A Knotfest within T would be immense and would shake the fucker right up.

As for FIB, aye, that was a good indicator for a chunk of the T lineup. Not necessarily for the headliners though, with The Libertines and Kasabian not playing T.

I would watch Robbie at a festival too. Some good tunes but he's a charismatic front man who tries. I can't help but like him for it. Not over Slipknot though

If there was gonna be any sort of dance headliner then I think The Prodigy would be a safe bet. Chems and Guetta headlining R1 the days The Prodigy aren't on and Alt-J the day they are or something.

Possibly a Kraftwerk moment, where everyone who had heard of them saw something special but the majority of T goers hadn't a clue who they were and tent was a quarter full.

She's already announced for festivals in Europe and it would be the next logical step after her last tour. Pretty good chance she'll headline Glasto, too.
