Was Invaders Must Die not out the last time they played T though?

Yep, think it came out in February/March of that year. At the time of it's release and their festival bookings, they weren't headliners as they hadn't done anything relevant for a while. The album really took off though and pushed them back up to headline status.

You guys do realise they have a new album coming out in March? Their set will be much different from the last time they played T, they are definitely main headliner worthy.. although I'd much rather have them headline Radio 1 cause it's a better stage for that kind of act imo.

Personally I don't think Flo has made headliner status yet. Think she'll play but it'll be sub at best

Totally agree but if there's someone like the chemical brothers on at the same time it wouldn't bother me,don't think she's a ticket shifter though.

Obviously they had a lot to sort with licensing issues with the new site, which will be at the top of their list before they start releasing any names, I'm sure they always said it would be sometime in February before there is anything announced

The announcement is always in February. It's coming, keep your knickers on. The only difference this time is they didn't give us a headliner around December time.

But now with most festivals announcing at least a few acts really early on in the year to help sell tickets in the early stages you should expect T to do the same again

T will drop a huge chunk of its lineup in feburary so chill, most festivals won't usually have that much out yet.

Absolutely, out of the big four UK fests we only know seven names at Reading so far, considering T are moving to a new site as well it's amazing anyone is panicking

Isle of Wight has announced all but one of the headliners and a few other major acts and even though it doesn't share much competition with Download, it has got a lot of its big names out and more coming on Wensday and don't forgot Glasto has announced Lionel but Glasto sell tickets on name alone. Most of its competition has got someone out already to try and sell tickets and most people won't take a new site as a motivation to go. Anyway I don't know why I'm that bothered as I'm not even planning on going to T

ugh, hope Bastille take the year off from here going by the Beni announcement, it doesnt change my stance headliner wise btw (though may force Noel on to my poster) Public Enemy would be a cracking booking, mind!

Regarding other major UK fest announcements, does anyone else not really have much considerment for IOW? despite its rich history, has always looked pretty poor on tv, almost like Hyde Park type gigs.
