DomDom1984
I'm sticking with Prodigy, Robbie and Libertines.
foolee
Would be different at least. Dunno how well it'd sell, probably quite well.
Matthew McNally
Kings of Leon haven't been since 2009, I would want them over mumford any day. Like last year undercard may be very strong with everyone complaining about the headliners.
Rose-Colored Boy
I don't think it'll be Florence, I'm sticking with Robbie Why? Neil just dropped the most transparent hint going that it's Florence, in comparison to there being no evidence (apart from tour-dates) that Robbie is in any way likely whatsoever Edited February 10, 2015 by Zac Quinn
DomDom1984
I'm assuming that his comment was about Mumfords becoming an SR. People reading too much into his comments again here. However, let's play that game. People scream at Robbie gigs. A lot. Robbie is in Europe at the time and is just as likely as anyone else. harryomatic
One of the lines in Let Me Entertain You is "now scream" Robbie confirmed.
dentalplan
Mumfords became a strong rumour when they were announced as an England & Wales exclusive for R+L last week.

Sure they got added as one straight after the R&L announcement.
DomDom1984
Oh right. The second part of the post still stands though.

Nizzy6996
Are we potentially looking at an announcement tonight?
Rose-Colored Boy
Not even totally sure Robbie is a headliner any more. If he'd pulled the stunt with his latest album pre-Rudebox era, then you'd never have heard the end of it - but it barely caused a ripple. He's at least fallen down into the same 'could sub under someone big' category Flo occupies, for my money.
DomDom1984
He's a headliner.

Rose-Colored Boy
He's a headliner. Based on what, though? The fact his last tour didn't sell out? The fact his latest publicity stunt went almost-totally ignored? The fact he he's had one hit in six years? The fact nobody even noticed when he left Take That for a second time, let alone shrugged their shoulders?
DomDom1984
When did any of his publicity stunts ever get any attention? His alien bullshit before just got roundly ignored as well. The last tour didn't sell out, but he still sold an incredible amount of tickets, and he did actually sell out most of the eight stadium dates he played. Which probably amounts to hundreds of thousands of tickets. Bigger than all of the arena sized headliners and DEFINITELY bigger than Florence and the Machine who you laughably tried to put on the same level. DomDom1984
Sorry, it was actually ten stadium shows that he nearly filled.
TheHiddenPassenger
Don't suppose anyone took a note of the list of possible headliners from that survey T sent out just after last years festival?
kingcrawler
Don't suppose anyone took a note of the list of possible headliners from that survey T sent out just after last years festival? There probably won't be a list but if you look back on this topic people were talking about it, might get some names from that.

Aye it's page 15 everyone was talking about it, was hoping to see names that we'd forgotten about that T had as a possible headliner, majority of them are ruled out or extremely unlikely at this point. Slipknot was in fact on the list however lol. Edited February 10, 2015 by TheHiddenPassenger
Matt42
With florence's album now confirmed and everything, lead single coming in a few days I'd say announcing her for T now looks like a sure bet. Florence + The Machine (prodigy playing after) Mumford and sons The libertines

DomDom1984
Three straight headliners. Noel behind The Libertines, Florence behind Muse. Not sure on who I'd put behind The Prodigy. I'm not that sure if Noel will play btw, but if he does, I'm wagering sub or Stage 2 headline. But if he takes a "I must headline" stance, I'd wager he won't be there at all.
