Mezhyp1
is there actually any truth behind the slipknot rumour? Can't imagine slipknot being a popular addition to the line up even if they did get added.

Shootenanny!
Since we're on the verge of the announcement thought I'd make an unrealistic list of some acts I'd love to see there: Counting Crows, First Aid Kit, Gorillaz, The Offspring, Morrissey, The Gaslight Anthem, Interpol, The Darkness, Frank Turner, The Cribs, Courteeners, Editors, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, The Pigeon Detectives, Kodaline, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Shed Seven, Spector, Surfer Blood, The War On Drugs, Weezer, The Proclaimers, White Lies, Eric Church, Grouplove. DomDom1984
I don't think a lot of them are unrealistic. Gorillaz, The Offspring, The Darkness, Frank Turner you can probably rule out. The rest is realistic enough for a guess.

Still, seems a bizarre choice of words when they had already been confirmed?

DomDom1984
Whoops so they are. Still, seems a bizarre choice of words when they had already been confirmed? Probably, but it still makes more sense than Slipknot ever playing at T in the Park.

DomDom1984
Any reason that Frank Turner would be unrealistic? I thought he'd announced a few gigs for this year, including festivals. I sort of thought about that after I posted. I thought it was the last two years he played, but it was the last two years that I was there. So he missed last year. Mezhyp1
Don't get it. Slipknot are playing T. I'm with Will and the optimism here, stuff donnington, The Knot are coming to clear out the nonsense from T Also if they have somehow managed to scalp Gorillaz from nowhere it would go back to being my favourite festival But they won't have
Comfy Bean
Noticed Madness had no Scottish dates but wondered if Wickerman have booked them. Hope so, would be perfect in the hills.
harryomatic
Always love day before announcement, so exciting! Feels like Christmas Eve when you were a kid. All the anticipation and possibilities just waiting.
Chiefski
Would love Gorillaz depsite the on off reviews they got playing Glasto, Demon Days is still one of my fave albums. Can't see Madness playing that many gigs on simultaneous days in a row so I cant see them doing the sunday, so maybe a call for Wickerman... The Specials are better anyway.
