K'naan's first album is wonderful (would 110% recommend), second also good, but since has descended nto the abyss of hip-pop

Edit: The latter two acts are still wonderful overall, for me, because both of their first albums salvage the rest of their average-ness.

I see. Have you heard the first two?

Definitely. Amazing Grace and Pure Phase are probably their lowlights but they're still good. Quite underrated band really. What are they like live?

yeah i have, they're pretty good but many regard them as a one album band.. certainly commercially, to an extent, they are. I suppose because i heard the 3rd before the rest, the rest were at a disadvantage.

Wasn't directed at me but saw them live last year and they were v good.

Ah okay. I just asked kaos because I didn't even have to ask if he's seen them first because the answers always yes.

Good that they're a decent live band though. I dunno why I've not seen them yet as I've been into them for a long while and they tour every year. I'll try catch them this time around.

I have indeed Twice.

They're ace live, really gorgeous soundscaping. The songs translate a lot better live than I'd expected actually, particularly the newer ones.

Yeah, I was thinking it could go either way for live shows with the central musician having drug problems over the years. Glad it's pretty good; hopefully it's Glastonbury's turn to have them again this year.
