Slightly concerned that things are changing underneath our feet - got all my timings jotted down for my long-list of bands, and now some are moving about... Gonna have to check everyone's still where they should be nearer to the time. Will times keep changing up to the week of the festival do we think, or is this just a brief re-jig?

There's a reason Clashfinder suggests not printing yet. Timings will continue to be tweaked.

Thats annoying the slot seems to have moved. I had Motorbead as my no 2 must see after a tie between Patti Smith and Moody Blues, looks like I will be missing Wolf Alice now

William's Green gets stupidly busy on the Thursday, hoping to get info in advance what slot they will have so I can go see them there.

May mean I have to miss Beans on Toast on Hell though, hoping it doesn't clash with Cerrone on Genysys as well!

Happy Wolf Alice have been moved earlier. At least it doesn't mean a Wolf Alice & Sharon van Etten vs Flo clash. Although I'd quite like to see Benjamin Booker too.

I think its fairly common knowledge that they are playing Rob, usually comes out whose doing what slot in the days before the fest I think.

For the people worried about the Motorhead clash - The last 3 times I've seen them their performances have gotten progressively worse. I'm a huge metal guy and a big Motorhead fan but they have absolutely lost it over recent years. I can understand if they are a bucket list band for some people, but I would say make sure you check your expectations. The last time I saw them Lemmy was forgetting lyrics all over the place!

I don't mean to be a downer and I don't mean to slag off Motorhead, just giving some people a heads up. I'd definitely check some of their recent Download festival performances on YouTube before you make up your mind.

I still want to see them though, I saw them in 2003 and thats the only time I have seen them! If they are shit, I fully intend to fuck off and watch WA.

Baggy Monday's finishes at 8.30pm and I don't want to miss that, but first live band starts at that time at WG. Is it that bad for getting into? If I find out in advance who the first band is, then I will obviously decide whether I should sack of Baggy Monday's.

aye it gets pretty hectic as obviously there isn't much else on at that time. if the first band leaks and you're interested then you'll definitely need to arrive earlier

Depends on the bands/whose there. I arrived at the end of 1975 last year, not expecting to get in for Metronomy, it was absolutely rammed, even outside (but you could still sort of hear the band unfortunately) so I thought I'd grab a cider from the craft cider bar and as I finished getting served, a fair amount of people left and I managed to sneak in around the side, to an aceptable position.

Thats not entirely helpful I realise, but I'd imagine its the same for most acts there, even being on a Thursday with a number of people wanting to move on when an act finishes.

Was stood outside the tent for both 1975 and metronomy last year and could just about hear both, however i wasnt overly fussed and just soaked up the atmoesphere as best i could with my friends. was rammo though!

Cheers for help. I'll just wait and see if the bands leak first. I haven't got my hopes quite as high as I did have, I was hoping The Cribs would be in there. Kind of hoping someone like James Bay is in there so it keeps the gf happy and I won't have to go separate ways with her on Friday or put up with her sulking face while Another Number is on!
