I had 54000 ahead of me at 10:45 and just got on and got rear standing so I think there are a fair few left if the queue moves quickly

Thank you. I'd be curious to see more gigs like that in stadiums. More of a natural bowl-style arrangement.

Been to many gigs there over the past 18 years and only once have I encountered the "normal" stadium layout (RHCP in 2007... absolutely sh*te, I've never listened to them since).

 

Unfortunately although it seems like a good idea on paper, it makes for a pretty average gig. Seats either end are notoriously far away from the pitch, even for football, which means any seat that's not head-on is miles away from the action. The head on seats are fine but obviously more expensive. Standing feels very... wide...

 

Sound is woeful because the stage faces the higher stand - I think Springsteen and Don Henley both made the same joke - "We've played here before, I remember that echo..."

 

I really want to see LDR but Hampden has totally put me off. It will sound rubbish. 

 

(I realise that she's not going to play anywhere smaller again, but who knows, maybe Murrayfield next time, or Glasgow Green, or even the Hydro! This time just ain't worth the money...)

resellers and the cult converge at the same time. And i am sure its more attractive to foreign attendees simply due to lower prices and standing. Cheaper to go to London than to see her in the states. And its hilarious that she is down bill at Stagecoach and yet is doing this.

I must admit, her Stagecoach billing fascinated me. I assumed it was, in part, due to the very lacklustre reaction there seemed to be for her at Coachella as much as it was for genre reasons.

 

But I digress. Genuinely astounded that - unless there is skullduggery afoot - she's sold out two nights at Wembley and a full UK stadium tour to go with it. Absolutely bonkers.

I'm aware she does have a very dedicated core base who will travel across seas to follow her. I guess my confusion there is that she's not exactly renown for consistent live prowess. This isn't like Springsteen changing it up for nearly three hours each night
