We had a lot of people either trying themselves, helping others in the group or roping in friends and family, so a lot of devices between us. Most reported two bars and nothing else throughout (me included across 3 devices).   Two of our groups were successful. One was on iPad, not sure about the other.  A few more saw progress or even got to the ticket page in one case but tickets were all allocated.   Anecdotally, we had a bit more success than last year’s coach sale, but that might just be random chance.

Clues being sent out, I just signed up 

new Fender track is the most ‘I’m about to headline Glastonbury’ song since Ed Sheeran released Castle on the Hill. It’s an absolute lock. 

Got through on my phone so Apple Pay was the fastest option, worked perfectly.    Manually entering details is too slow, increased chance of losing ticket. 

But does it matter whether they did it with them or not? It was a co-headline tour so no reason to think surely WT wouldn't have got an equivalent slot. Also, it's very clear to see that co-headline tour was booked as that as well for Download as they both got 1hr 10 minutes as and no other band did playing second down that weekend. You might be right though, I personally see them on main this time around and that tour would suggest probably 3rd but that toured hasn't sold out out at all. There are standing tickets left for every venue comfortably and seating tickets every venue as well. Certainly suggests they've over played their venues. To be honest so do Bullet and we would be very surprised if Bullet played under Green Day and not one of the other days. I mean give me two more subs to come on Saturday and Sunday by all means but Green Day, Weezer, Bullet and Jimmy isn't happening.
