Finding it pretty hard to believe that temps will be at 12 degrees over the weekend? Of course it's better than a weekend of rubbish rain, but for the temps to drop that much?

Personally I think that is rubbish.

No risk of sunstroke or sun burn.... no risk of trench foot... it's not ideal but I bet the will be less 'THE WEATHER RUINED MY FESTIVAL BECAUSE I WAS TOO HOT/TIRED/MUDDY/WET to enjoy myself' it's a happy medium.

I tend to use the GFS models during the winter sort snowboarding forecasts, but I'm no expert. Its not looking too bad, but it does look like a few sustained showers on Friday.

I can live with a bit of rain and low temperatures but strong winds blowing the sound all over the place is always a bigger ball ache for me

Yeah, I was introduced to it for winter sports, but after using that other weather forcasts just leave me wanting more, so use this year round now.
