Remember he's not been - i think the use of the word mudbath at all is rather inflammatory there

A bit of rain Tuesday and Wednesday is Wray we used to dismiss as softening the ground for our tent pegs - chill out you panicers

I picked up a random hitcher with a guitar this afternoon heading out of Frome...he came past us as we walked back home and we watched him get ignored by every car that passed on the mile we were behind him. When we got home I got the car out and caught him up. He said he was going to Glastonbury to walk up the Tor and watch the sunset, and although it's 20 miles away I took him there.

We went through Pilton and past all the security and traffic going in and out of the site and we talked about the Festival and how we were praying for good weather...to which he nodded sagely....

I dropped him by Chalice Well at the base of the Tor and he told me his name was Simon, I told him I was Rich, and when he waved goodbye he said thanks and wished me a good day...and then said 'have a good festival....the weather will be just fine'.

I believe him. He's probably still up there now.....strumming a few tunes.

OK Im giving up looking at charts and this long range forecast shite.

Id never even seen a weather chart before this week and Iv decided Im reverting back to my "any earlier than 7 days before a festival is bullshit" rule.

I've been following this for a while but my friend has just started working for the met office and has told me that it's impossible to predict over 5 days in advance and that most the time it's just a load of guff. So i think we should perhaps ignore these forecasts for a couple of days (see you here every waking hour until Tuesday).
