This thread!

Bad report - "Ah sure you cant trust forecasts until X time out. Its bullshit, rubbish, guff, made up" etc etc

Good report - "Woo Hoo! Yeah! Its going to be a sizzler! Scorchio!!! etc etc

Are you questioning our commitment to the principles of science?

I'm only seeing minimal amounts of rain on most of these forecasts . The only one bothering me is accuweather predictions for Saturday for

evening/night

The models can't make their mind up about this weekend yet, never mind next week. Still too early to be overly worried. If I remember rightly, Jackone was still predicting some rain on the Tuesday in 2010 and we know how that turned out!

Because they realised the futility of trying to predicts anything more than 5 days ahead. Only the gods know.

NFR NFC

No, I mean they're being more confident in their forecasts for days 6-10. They're now saying it will be max 20 degrees, min 12 degrees, rather than max 15-22 and min 10-14.

If you go to the day in the future and point the cursor at that day it brings up a box......... it has details like this in it.. Proof that only the gods really know.

This is all looking pretty good I reckon. The uninitiated think that if it rains at the fest then that automatically means it's a 'mudbath'. The fact is that to get a proper one, you need heavy rain consistently in the build-up, followed by pretty continuous rain during it too. It looks unlikely we're going to get a sh1tstorm in the next week or so, so even if it does take a bit of a turn for the worse, the ground should be pretty hard anyway which bodes well.

Oh dear, I've started looking in the weather thread - the fest really must be close!
