Pixies and Metallica seems a bit of a brutal clash for a lot of people. I'll be seeing Pixies but even I would have liked to have a gander at Metallica to see how they fare on Pyramid. Ah well.

Arcade Fire and Pixies as my headliners so far - pretty damn good!

I can see him headlining Park - and would love it - but consensus round here seems to be that he's too big and would be 2nd or 3rd on Other or a bit lower on Pyramid. I hope not.

Any reason he can't do Sunday? John Grant on Park to close would be a great closer for me.

Yeah me too, I'd have to see Metallica - couldn't have them playing the Pyramid and me not being there. But still clinging on to hope that they might not clash....

I agree Metallica and the pixies is a rediculace clash. Pixies win for me just gutted I'm going to miss Metallica on the pyramid, a set I thort I'd never see and at this rate I won't they should just put jack white on the other stage and the pyramid shall goes as follows

I don't think John Grant is too big for the Park. I'd say more people would even be more familiar with the name of James Blake? If James Blake can headline the Park then surely John Grant can? Maybe John Grant, James Blake & Mogwai all headlining the Park Stage on whatever nights?

The LRDTSE stage splits were announced today telling us what we sort of knew all along: Interpol playing Glastonbury Friday, MGMT playing Glastonbury Saturday or Sunday.

Re: Pixies vs Metallica, it depends when Metallica were starting.

Obviously the Stones shouldn't really be used as a benchmark, but if Metallica have a longer set and there is a decent amount of time between Metallica and Pixies starting I'd be tempted to try and quickly jog between Pyramid and Other.

Usually about 15 minutes difference between start times though. If that's the case, Pixies all the way for me.
