As I mentioned before, there really is no "good" guys in GOT. Just different levels of favourability and hatred toward characters. Jamie can never be good in the true sense of "good versus evil".

We can however begin to favour him more as his character becomes more complex and he deals with internal dilemmas.

Tyrion?

Tyrion?

Nah. Although we love him and he has very many redeeming characteristics, as a character he is extremely manipulative, cunning and scheming. He would fuck you over if he felt he had to. He of course does not exude pure evil, but he is in no way a pure "good" character. He very much will use, and has done, his family's wealth and power to gain advantage. He sees evil in his family, but for survival has continued to show "Lanister Loyalty"

Sure dont forget when we first met him he was a whoring little rich boy (pardon the pun)

Not the best episode, imo.

No mention of the rape at all? Are we supposed to think it never happened?

The scene with margaery and tommen was just cringey. Is she actually going to seduce him? I know she obviously has to win him over, but is sex really the best way to go about it. When I was 12 I hated girls!

Dany's scene was boring. We didnt even see a battle! At least lets see some actual fighting, with the dragons tearing the place up. But no, just another walkover. Yawn.

I never thought the goings on in the north would be the highlight but it was tonight. It's set up nicely for jon snow to kick the ass of that nasty man who's captured his brother.

I don't think the Margaery and Tommen scene was that cringey, they are obviously being lined up to get married. I don't think Margaery likes Cersei, was referred to last week when Margarey was saying how she's not queen and cersei still is. The amount of times she kept referring to having secrets away from others I think was quite telling of how Margaery doesn't want Tommen to be influenced by his power-craven mother. IMO I don't think the scene was that sexual.

With the talk about Jamie I think the fact that they call the sword 'Oathkeeper' is how he is trying to change as a person and not be as much of a tit as he once was perceived. I do agree that particularly with GoT there is no clear cut 'Good Vs Evil'.

Absolutely, it's clearly being set up as a battle to see who can control Tommen.

I enjoy the episodes which only move things forward as much as I enjoy the episodes with conclusions, I think. It was good to see Little finger back on the scene and as central as ever despite his recent absence, I am really hoping that his alliance with the Tyrell's is going to bring some more bloodshed.

I can't see Jaime getting extensions in at this point in the series, sorry Russy. I guess you'll just have to wait for it to grow back.

ace episode all round I thought.

I agree the cersei/marjaery scene was surprising, but I am sure it is all part of a larger more dastardly plan.

Lysa is a tremendous character and the actress plays her perfectly. Really unnerving, and hearing her sex-noises was horrendous :sarcastic: I suspect littlefinger might have bitten off more than he can chew with her. Her son is a little shit too, there seems to be a conveyor belt of evil kid actors somewhere.

The brann scenes were tremendous. I was absolutely shitting my slacks when that nasty shit was about to rape meera, and cheered when jon snow finished him off. <though I was disappointed to learn the actor that plays jon snow is decended form king charles II! another posh sod handed lifes opportunities on a plate>

Not sure what to think about the Dany scene. Does this mean more walkovers, or will their actually be some danger that she might actually lose a battle? And we didnt get to see the dragons again, i guess the CGI is too expensive.

The hound remains my favourite character by a mile. Arya deserved that slap, she was getting a little too big for her boots if you ask me.

I dont much like the brienne/podrick pairing so far though, too much slapstick for me. No doubt it'll improve though

When Cersei was talking to Marjory, just before they spoke of the potential for Marjory to marry Tommen she looked up, took a deep breath and then engaged as if she was about to talk of something she did not want to but knew she had to. It was forced. Cersei very much is accepting of this because she knows she has to for now and she has no other immediate move to play that would prevent it.

I have to say the Brienne and Podrick stuff bored me silly last night. Awful stuff really. They would want to get moving.

Baelish definitely seems to have his "fingers" in one pie too many. I smell it going very pear shaped for him in the future. It was a very interesting half conversation he had with the new Mrs

"What wife would do the things I've done for you? What wife would trust you the way I trusted you? When you gave me those drops and told me to pour them into Jon's wine. My husband's wine. And you told me to write a letter to Cat telling her it was the Lannisters..."
