If Skrillex headlined the Lock Up some one will die (probably Melvin). Anyway Skrillex isn't a punk acts so that's okay and if he was he'd be too big for it.

Anyway the Skrillex speculation wasn't massive and I don't recall many people expecting him to play again this year

Yeah I didn't expect him to headline Lock Up, a mix of him being too big an act and too small a stage. Ah well, would've been sweet to have seen him again but last year was good enough!

Anyway it is more due to the fact that Skrilliex is NOT a Punk act. It is the same as getting Deftones to headline the Dance Stage. It's stupid and is never going to happen in a million years

Reading Saturday is probably my favourite of the mainstages so far.

Same, the only act I'm not interested in seeing is Foster the People. I do worry about Peace clashing with Royal Blood though.

Peace and Royal Blood SHOULD be alright because Nero have to slot in at top of NME that day, which pushes everyone down a bit. But yeah it could be tight depending on stage times the rest of the day, obviously.

Well LTA in the middle there will probably mean two of them don't clash, but yeah its confusing at the moment. I doubt QotSA will clash with Warpaint, they're 4th down on NME so will almost definitely clash with third on main.

Anyway, I don't think you're factoring set lengths into it on the Saturday. The acts on NME at the same time are likely to have shorter sets. You're probably right about Warpaint though.

After watching his Coachella set, Nas would have made an awesome NME headliner. Alas, it was not meant to be (like with most artists that aren't flavour of the month dross)

I can't see the CTE/Hives clash not happening at the moment unfortunately. The only way they won't is if Arctics set is 2 hours but am I right in thinking they don't usually play much over 90 mins?
