Don't stand at the front of a crowd during a band and talk all the way through - my absolute biggest bugbear (especially the people who are like "I'm so excited I've wanted to see X for ages" and then talk all the way through!)

At Latitude last year, we actually had to tell people to shut up in the comedy tent for Eddie Izzard - wasn't like there was anyone on after him and it was packed and they fought their way inside the tent where we were and talked all the way through! grrr

maybe I'm just getting old? :)

I took two return trips to the car last time out...

Had to get the reserve booze supply on Saturday morning!!

Was a good way to clear the head and, oddly, I enjoyed the 30mims of peace.[/quote

We always do a return trip at some point. Have done two.

I always take my empty rucksack and anything that is dirty or not needed anymore back to the car. Fill rucksack up with stuff to take on site

Don't forget sunscreen! & remember to put it on all body parts that will be exposed. Last year, my friend fell asleep in the sun (she was in her tent with the door open) burnt her hands (the door had blown back so they were exposed to the sun) which swelled up to monstrous proportions & I'm quite certain she had sunstroke too. Not pleasant.

Oops new poster sorry but the sunscreen thing - make it part of your morning routine. Sods law says it will be blazing sunny in the morning (so your tent hits oven like temps), then suspiciously cool and overcast when you get out of it. Dont be fooled - Chuck sunscreen on whatever the weather. Wearing spf 25 I still caught the sun last year even when overcast.

Don't sit drinking your booze at your tent. Yeah, get up and have a couple but then get going. You can take it anywhere and it breaks my heart to see people sat by their tent. This is Glastonbury, not Reading.

And like someone else said, take no preconceptions and do everything that comes at you!

Well it depends on what you like, if you are one of those who prefer Skrillex over Arcade Fire, then why would you waste your time on a band you don't like and most probably won't enjoy?

That's another thing, don't listen to people who tell you the act you like is shit and you should see someone else, you will most probably have a better time seeing the act that YOU like
