Bell Tent or not to Bell Tent?

I am debating whether or not to use my 4m bell tent for me and three mates to share. I do have the option of a Eurohike but camping in the bell is just so much more comfortable, allowing us to catch up on much needed sleep on the inevitable scorching hot mornings.

Assuming I can get it on site easily with my trolley has anyone got any experience of taking a bell tent before? What were the pros/cons (apart from the obvious weight difference)?

I would love to take a bell tent, but for me the effort of lugging it on site would be too much, certainly people do however, see the odd one dotted about. If you can face the trek with it I would say go for it, as I agree particularly for the mornings they are so much more comfortable.

I was well pissed off in 2011 - the WBC held a Glastonbury quiz but because of my record ' I was not allowed to enter ' - the winner would win the use of a fully Stocked Bell Tent for the whole weekend .
as you can see it was a cracker and was filled out with beanbags and very snazzy camping beds.
Anyway the questions were so obscure I was amazed anyone got over 50% right but smelled a rat when most people only got one or two wrong - trust me even Michael Eavis would never have got more than 75% right so when the 18 year old winner stood up to claim his prize I spotted him pushing his smartphone in his back pocket.In fact I suspect most were cheating - I was running the bar so was not really paying attention to the contestants.
This year I will be helping with the quiz and anyone spotted using their Smartphones will be kicked out.
it came fully stocked with bevy { more than anyone apart from a dipsomaniac could get though } and they also got the next day off.
it was amazingly cool inside { The two winners are not in this shot }
