What's changed since '08?

Evenin' all. Long time viewer, first time poster.

This year's going to be my first since 2008, been in exile for 6 years thanks to a particularly bad run of luck with See. I can't wait to get back, just wondering what's different and what to look out for. Last time I was there we camped up on Dragon but it looks like that's all crew now. Where to go? What to do?

Will look to get a lot more active on here, nothing like the feeling of community!

2008 was my first year.

Its a little bit bigger, Arcadia (from trash city) has moved into the other field leaving more room in the southeast corner. The southeast corner now has a one way system, Jazz world has been renamed west holts and doesn't just do jazz, and the dance village is now silver hayes and doesn't just concentrate on dance. the tent that used to be in the other field is now in williams green.

JayZ isn't playing and you're safe from the risk of being thumped by amy winehouse.

Think that covers it!

Also there are viewing areas on the hills above the park and tipi village (can't remember if they were there in 2008). There will be Arcadia as part of a new late night field/area near the Park. 2008 was a good year!

  • There are fewer portaloos and more compost loos.
  • The beer's gone up rather a lot.
  • The Park Stage faces uphill
  • Jazz/World is called West Holts. But there still aren't screens so short people still can't see :(
  • Leftfield has moved to where Leftfield used to be before Leftfield was where Leftfield used to be, which is now William's Green with a bar, venue, and Food Court.
  • The bar in the Avalon field is now a proper pub with an upstairs
