Are there any good UK fests or good music related things late Sept onwards?

I live in New Zealand, gonna be one of those Kiwi's to get a visa and do the work thing in UK soon, but probably won't arrive until later in the year, maybe later in September. Are there any good festivals heading into the colder months, or does it all dry up around Bestival?

Alternatively I assume bands are still touring later in the year so there'd be some chance of finding some entertaining UK music type things throughout winter?

They used to have ATP stuff but that's gone now and I can't think of anything off the top of my head still that will do the job.

Luckily October-December is the peak season for tour dates.

iTunes festival? But tickets for that is a lottery. Warped Tour is usually in November.

Not normally any festies (large ones anyway) but it's a haven for the arena tours in Sep-December.

You have Freeze in London which is mix of Ski Sports/Music which is decent ...no camping mind!

Bestival is the last of the "big" camping festivals really!

Sweet as cheers, I guess I'll look out for the arena tours. Plus will be first time in UK, moving to London, so plenty of other stuff to see and do.

There's Butserfest near Portsmouth in September, first line up announcement tomorrow evening.

Not really helpful for London but Swn festival in Cardiff is usually around the third weekend in October. Hugely enjoyable multi-venue affair with a good few big hitters and rising names.

Have a look at http://www.looemusic.co.uk/ It's a cracking little festival with the main stage on the beach & other stages across the town. Brilliant weekend in Cornwall & great value for money.

I was going to suggest Something Else in the Dean which is a very small festival that takes place on 26th - 28th September this year. However, I've just had a look at the site and it says that it has now sold out. That said, you could always contact them by email to see if they'd be willing to sell just one more ticket in the interests of good Anglo / New Zealand relations. Here are the site details;
