Anyone stayed in opressa del mar before? whats it like for sneaking in a mate who's not booked into the hotel?

erm... you do know Oropesa is a town , quite a big town actually so sneaking someone in shouldn't be that much of an issue mate .

My Spanish is terrible. Tried the website yes but it seemed to display a number of different prices, possibly first class, standard class, off peak for example. Either way it confused me.

I'm in a party of 8 and we are all squeezing into a 6person apartment..

Are all 8 booked in? We've got 6 booked in ours but one of our mates decided to come with us so we're just hoping we'll be able to get him in

I got my tickets off there, probably a bit more expensive but a lot more straight forward than renfe

thats where i got my train tickets too, it was quite staight forward, this is my first time going, and what im worried about is that u had to pick a time for ur train leaving, what if something happened and u r flight is delayed, does that mean u can use ur train tickets on a later train ????

Not sure as i havn't organised the apartment. I imagine we are not but should be fine. Hotel may be stricter however. My first time so best asking someone who has been previous.

You won't be able to use the tickets booked for a certain train on a different train plus they will probably be sold out anyway, the only way I could miss the train is if my plane was delayed like 12 hours...

Apparently there's something called Rock the Town happening this year.

Not sure exactly where it's happening but I hope it's down on the beach.

well ill have to keep my fingers crossed my flight isnt delayed, i get in to barcelona at 3 and im booked on the train at 5 , or thats the money ive shelled out for train tickets up the swanny

Sounds like we are on the same flight then. The possibility of a delay is putting me off buying in advance

We're flying to and from reus and we're getting the trains to and from beni (well, oropesa is wher we're staying). We're having a day in tarragona then getting the train the next day to oropesa which is only about 25 euros (benicassim is 1 stop further than oropesa and only about 7 minutes longer if you're going to beni). On the way back we're having a night in salou which is right by reus and tarragona. Again the price is about 25 euro's for the one way train ticket. The train ticket website, renfe can be a pain in the arse so give me a shout if you need help

Ah this sounds like a better idea.. we're staying in Oropesa too.

It's pretty obvious they are close to tying up all the loose ends now, so i would expect even tomorrow or early next week.

Hopefully the backlash on facebook has forced them to dig a little deeper for slightly better acts...

Expecting nothing remotely significant mind you.

Just google fib shop and go onto the transportation tab. Not getting into Barcelona till about 4 so going to have to wait until the 9pm bus
