If it's a larger act hoping to do a low-key (ish) slot without the stress of headlining, then Coldplay seem likely.

they've been on hiatus since not long after their Glastonbury performance, but unfortunately they haven't split and will no doubt burden our ears with another album of the same dross in a couple of the years (and then not long after Marcus Mumford will do his inevitable solo album)

The slot is down for 45 mins I think. 45 mins on Other Stage on Friday lunch is a far different proposition than 90 minutes as the sun goes down on the Park. I just can't imagine any big names really wanting to do this slot. No romance, no time, no atmosphere. I'd expect a Franz F or Klaxons at best.

This thread has gone on for so long it's just been omitted that Franz are unfortunately in South West France on friday night. Just checked and their slot is 9.30pm. Whilst they as people could probably do it I doubt you could get all their gear over for it.

They could do the Sunday JP slot
