Simpo
James Dean Bradfield has said on the radio that the Manic Street Preachers will be doing "something" to mark the 20 year anniversary of The Holy Bible. In May he also said they were thinking of doing 2 sets on their next tour, one being Holy Bible in full Seems like it would be a very Manics thing to blast it out at 11am on the scene of the infamous bypass remark. Then the same day their promotions team kicks into gear, announces Futurology/Holy Bible tour, promotes the new album, promotes their Saturday appearance at Glastonbury. I daren't let myself believe though, it would be too incredible to see. Nicky Wire is on the Radcliffe & Maconie show between 1 and 4 today, on 6music. eFestivals
Outkast are playing 28th June there, not 27th. http://www.staplescenter.com/events/detail/the-bet-experience-at-la-live-maxwell-jill-scott-and-marsha-ambrosiusyep ... but do you really think they'd be breaking off their US tour to fly across the pond to play a set that no one knows about, to then fly back the same day, then play 2 more shows in the USA, and then fly back to Europe in time for the following weekend? That's the sort of thing which might happen for a 'big deal' show, but I really can't see that happening for a show that no one knows about. Simpo
could it not be the other way round? As in the manics playing the hit's at 11 and then THB on the main slot? One can dream. I very much doubt it'll happen at glasto.

MichaelsBeard
Had a dream last night it was Jarvis Cocker. Make of that what you will. In the same dream after he finished playing I realised I hadn't put my tent up and only had 30 mins to run to Pennard's, put it up and be back for Blondie. Haha. Dreaming about Glastonbury - it must be getting close!!
