My mate is currently having a Tattoo designed by Pete Fowler, PF is curating The Crows Nest and has told my mate that the TBA is massive but is sworn to secrecy and gave no clues apart from that. The Sun are today hinting that it could be Prince and as unreal as that sounds, it would be in keeping with his recent tour of surprise gigs around the UK

This thread is too long to go through but what happened to the suggestion of Outkast. I'm sure they seemed to fit the description in the programme and not playing back in the states until the Saturday, given the time difference it would be doable. Certainly a very big band.

they're in the UK the following weekend so them going UK > US > UK in a matter of a week seems very unlikely (especially for an unannounced set)

Frank Turner possible? Hasn't played in ages, he's on tour with Mongol Horde at the moment so he's around.

Edit: They have a show on the Friday in Nottingham, doesn't completely rule him out but guess it's unlikely.

Went last night, aye noisy is right. Was a bit thrown back by it to begin with although was getting into a bit by the end and I think a lot of people came round to it.

We all know that Michael has tried to book him to play forever it seems .. So why would he convince him and then book him as a secret 45 min slot?

That would totally take the whole 'WOW' factor away of 'Prince at Glastonbury' when he is finally booked as headliner in the next few years.
