As much as I'm not a huge Libertines fan, I'd be very happy to see them at 11am whilst not much else is on (although I would like to see Jonny Greenwood). I was convinced it would be them, but the fact Pete's supposedly playing Stoke on the Wednesday on his way up to Glasgow, coupled with what was posted about Carl not long ago, makes me not so sure now.

Hmmmm... Gaslight Anthem you say?

This thread has followed the same trajectory as the weather thread. Page after page of people having no clue what's going to happen with predictions steadily getting worse and worse and then finally, at almost the 11th hour.... a little ray of sunshine.

My best mate works with a friend of Carl Barats mum. He asked her to see if she could get any info on if The Libs are playing Glastonbury. He's just replied...

"If the Libertines are playing, Carl Barat hasn't told his Mum."

EDIT: To add, apparently Carl is filming in France. No idea when he's back.

I've got no info at all but have a sneaky feeling it might be Foo Fighters which would be unreal. They have been doing lots of unannounced gigs recently in the States and were mentioning the UK on their Facebook page recently. Might just be wishful thinking though. I know they are big enough to headline but so were Green Day when they did the same at Reading couple of years ago.

No. They had 'Fall 2014' on the homepage of their website because the album is out then and they posted something hinting at visiting UK along with Australia/NZ and I didn't check but I assume other regions too, basically reminding fans they exist.
