Adversely, I can't stand people who are too stingy to throw 10's around. Unless you have a fairly eclectic set of favourite bands and are kaosmark2 then you're likely to think at least one of the debuts of your ten favourites merits a 10/10, right?

Yeah I reckon so. Still, I really like Pablo Honey but its still their second poorest album. Their three best are Kid A, In Rainbows and OK Computer though.

I'd give Kid A, Amnesiac and The Bends a 9/10. Maybe Hail to the Thief too actually, I gave Showbiz by Muse a 9/10 and I don't think HttT is better than that, leaving In Rainbows and OK Computer as 10/10s

One of my favourite bands is letlive but I haven't listened to their debut but I've not heard great things from it and they don't play any of it live any more so I haven't listened to it yet. There are some other bands that I prefer and for some reason I haven't listened to their debut

The Strokes - Is This It 9/10

Still unmatched as their best album, sadly can't see them ever repeating this quality.

Arcade Fire - Funeral 10/10

Tied with Neon Bible at the top of their flawless catalogue.

Bloc Party - Silent Alarm 10/10

One of my favourite albums of all time, again tied at their pinnacle with AWITC.

The Pixies - Surfer Rosa 6/10

Out done by everything released since this, might be why i was never able to get into it.

The Horrors - Strange House 6/10

Never got into it the same way I did with the three 9/10s they've released since.

Joy Division- Unknown Pleasures 9/10

​Inseparable in terms of quality with Closer, outstanding album.

Foals - Antidotes 8/10

Quality album, just tipped by Holy Fire as their best.

The Avalanches - Since I Left You 11/10

A modern masterpiece, highlight of the 21st century so far.

Vampire Weekend - s/t 7/10

Good, but has nothing on what they've put out since.

Massive Attack - Blue Lines 8/10

Solid and refreshing, but pipped by Mezzanine.
